Mokapot Media was founded by two brothers with one mission: to create high-quality multi-media projects at an affordable price.

Ainesh Shintre

Co-Founder

Ainesh graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Economics and FTVM (Film, Television, and Media) with a Screenwriting Sub-Major. While attending college, Ainesh worked various media jobs for the university. He took on the role of Multimedia Coordinator for the Palmer Commons Conference and Community Center in the UM Life Science Complex, managing the department’s social media, marketing, and advertising. He worked as a Videographer and Editor for ArtsEngine, creating short documentaries promoting interdisciplinary university projects between the colleges of Engineering, Art & Design, Architecture + Urban Planning, Music, Theatre & Dance, and Information.

Outside of working for the University of Michigan, Ainesh worked as an editor for Outloud Media, adapting long-form content from major YouTube and Twitch creators into short-form verticals and reels. He co-founded Delos Collective with three of his friends and frequent creative collaborators, with the goal to provide high-quality and affordable photography and videography services. He frequently collaborates with Blue Puffin Media, a video production company servicing the Metro Detroit and Greater Los Angeles, that specializes in cinematic videos for mitzvahs, weddings, and commercial advertising.

After college, Ainesh continued to work for ArtsEngine as a Media Assistant, guiding new employees and reviewing their work. He joined Sketch Studios as an Assistant Producer and Editor, helping produce blockbuster marketing and advertising for brands across the Midwest. Now, he lives in Los Angeles, mainly servicing the Greater Los Angeles Area as well as clients worldwide.

“One of my earliest memories is watching the first Harry Potter movie in theaters and crying when Hedwig flies away. Film and photography are forms of art very important to me, they allow us to feel, express, and share in a manner I love and can’t fully express in words. When it comes to my favorite movies, I’d have to say Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Before Sunrise, 28 Years Later, and When Harry Met Sally.

Animesh Shintre

Co-Founder

Animesh is currently studying Film and Psychology at Denison University. In high school Ani worked as the lead photographer of his high school paper The Crane Clarion, and spent his time outside of classes and extra curricular activities taking senior portraits and student headshots. He was a summer intern in the marketing department at Lane Automotive, one of the largest suppliers of performance parts and accessories for racers, hot rodders, trucks, and off-road enthusiasts in the country.

Currently, he studies in Columbus, Ohio, mainly servicing clients in the Midwest.

“The first short film I made was with my older brother and our pet parrot Sweetie. We unleashed our masterpiece Birdzilla to the world in 2014, and ever since then I’ve been hooked. I would take every chance I had to use a camera, whether it was taking photos for my high school newspaper, taking portraits for seniors, or creating short films with my friends. If I had to pick my favorite movies, I’d have to say Everything Everywhere All At Once, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Kill Bill, and “A Tail of Two Kitties.”
